On this edition of Free City Radio we hear from educator, writer and author Nalini Mohabir speaking on the collective book The Fire That Time which Nalini co-edited. This work focuses on the anti racist student uprising at Concordia University in Montreal in 1969 which is known as the Sir George Williams affair. Nalini connects the anti racist struggles of students from this era to the current struggles by students against sustained racist backlashes on the part of the US government and many university administrations toward the Palestine solidarity movement.
