#29 - Disrupting the Food System with Bruce Friedrich
Update: 2016-06-09
Description
Bruce Friedrich became vegan through his Catholic faith and subsequently turned vegan activism into his career, working at PETA, Farm Sanctuary, and now the Good Food Institute. He and I talk about the "abolition vs welfare" debate that often divides vegans, how focusing on global poverty and environmentalism were key to his decision to become vegan, and why low-fat cottage cheese was the last animal product he ate.
