We give an overview on Catholic exegesis in conformity with the Church's Magisterium and then share an audio version of the Navarre Bible commentary on today's Gospel from Luke 9:28-36. The commentary reflects on the Transfiguration of Christ as a consolation for the three apostles (Peter, James and John) in preparation for his passion.
