3-shanti-mantra
Update: 2020-10-17
Description
The 3 Shanti Mantras come from the Siksha-Valli section of Taittiriya Upanishad.
The special feature of Siksha-valli is that it gives a beautiful address to young novices of the Bhramacharya ashram, where the teacher tells the students about the virtues they should try to possess and cultivate, the ideals of life they should foster and such other rules of conduct for the building up of a noble character.
The 3 shanti mantras are from the verse 1, verse 4 and verse 10 of Siksha Valli, Taittiriya Upanishad. Recital of each verse is followed by its meaning in English and Hindi language.
