1. 견고한 요새가 무엇인지 바로 알아야 합니다.  (We need to know what the strongholds are).

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 10:4

싸움에 쓰는 우리의 무기는, 육체의 무기가 아니라, 하나님 앞에서 견고한 요새라도 무너뜨리는 강력한 무기입니다. 우리는 궤변을 무찌르고, The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 10:5

하나님을 아는 지식을 가로막는 모든 교만을 쳐부수고, 모든 생각을 사로잡아서, 그리스도께 복종시킵니다. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

2. 견고한 요새들이 무엇인지 확인할 수 있어야 합니다.  (We need to identify our strongholds)

디모데후서 (II Timothy) 2:22

그대는 젊음의 정욕을 피하고, 깨끗한 마음으로 주님을 찾는 사람들과 함께, 의와 믿음과 사랑과 평화를 좇으십시오. Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

로마서 (Romans) 13:14

주 예수 그리스도로 옷을 입으십시오. 정욕을 채우려고 육신의 일을 꾀하지 마십시오.  Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

3. 하나님의 무기들로 견고한 요세들을 공격해야 합니다. (We need to attack strongholds with God’s weapons).

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 10:3-4

우리가 육신을 입고 살고 있습니다마는, 육정을 따라서 싸우는 것은 아닙니다. 싸움에 쓰는 우리의 무기는, 육체의 무기가 아니라, 하나님 앞에서 견고한 요새라도 무너뜨리는 강력한 무기입니다. 우리는 궤변을 무찌르고, For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

에베소서 (Ephesians) 6:13-18

그러므로 하나님이 주시는 무기로 완전히 무장하십시오. 그래야만 여러분이 악한 날에 이 적대자들을 대항할 수 있으며 모든 일을 끝낸 뒤에 설 수 있을 것입니다.  그러므로 여러분은 진리의 허리띠로 허리를 동이고 정의의 가슴막이로 가슴을 가리고 버티어 서십시오.  발에는 평화의 복음을 전할 차비를 하십시오.  이 모든 것에 더하여 믿음의 방패를 손에 드십시오. 그것으로써 여러분은 악한 자가 쏘는 모든 불화살을 막아 꺼버릴 수 있을 것입니다.  그리고 구원의 투구를 받고 성령의 검 곧 하나님의 말씀을 받으십시오. 온갖 기도와 간구로 언제나 성령 안에서 기도하십시오. 이것을 위하여 늘 깨어서 끝까지 참으면서 모든 성도를 위하여 간구하십시오.  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.  And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saint

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 10:6

그리고 여러분이 온전히 순종하게 될 때에는, 우리는 모든 복종하지 않는 자를 처벌할 준비가 되어 있을 것입니다.  And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

요나 (Jonah) 3:5

그러자 니느웨 백성들은 하나님의 말씀을 믿고, 금식을 선포하고, 그들 가운데 가장 높은 사람으로부터 가장 낮은 사람에 이르기까지 모두 굵은 베 옷을 입었다  The Ninevites believed God. They declared a fast, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.
