고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 7:5

우리가 마케도니아에 이르렀을 때에도, 우리의 육체는 조금도 쉬지 못하였습니다. 우리는 여러 가지로 환난을 겪었습니다.

밖으로는 싸움이 있었고, 안으로는 두려움이 있었습니다. For when we came into Macedonia, this body of ours had no rest,

but we were harassed at every turn--conflicts on the outside, fears within.

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 7:4

나는 여러분에게 큰 신뢰를 두고 있으며, 여러분을 매우 자랑스럽게 생각합니다. 우리의 온갖 환난 가운데서도,

나에게는 위로가 가득하고, 기쁨이 넘칩니다.  I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you.

I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 7:7

그가 돌아온 것으로만이 아니라, 그가 여러분에게서 받은 위로로 우리는 위로를 받았습니다.

여러분이 나를 그리워하고, 내게 잘못한 일을 뉘우치고, 또 나를 열렬히 변호한다는 소식을 그가 전해 줄 때에,

나는 더욱더 기뻐하였습니다.  and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him.

He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever.

1. 하나님께 나아가십시오!   (Turn to God!)

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 7:6

그러나, 실의에 빠진 사람을 위로해 주시는 하나님께서는 디도를 돌아오게 하심으로써 우리를 위로해 주셨습니다.

But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 1:3-4

우리 주 예수 그리스도의 아버지이신 하나님을 찬양합시다. 그는 자비로우신 아버지시요,

온갖 위로를 주시는 하나님이시요, 온갖 환난 가운데에서 우리를 위로하여 주시는 분이십니다.

따라서 우리가 하나님께 받는 그 위로로, 우리도 온갖 환난을 당하는 사람들을 위로할 수 있습니다.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,

who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

시편 (Psalm) 46:1

하나님은 우리의 피난처이시며, 우리의 힘이시며, 어려운 고비마다 우리 곁에 계시는 구원자이시니,

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

2. 문제 가운데서 기쁨을 찾으십시오! (Look for joy in the midst of troubles!)

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 7:4

나는 여러분에게 큰 신뢰를 두고 있으며, 여러분을 매우 자랑스럽게 생각합니다.

우리의 온갖 환난 가운데서도, 나에게는 위로가 가득하고, 기쁨이 넘칩니다.

I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.

시편 (Psalm) 94:18-19

주님, 내가 미끄러진다고 생각할 때에는, 주님의 사랑이 나를 붙듭니다. 내 마음이 번거로울 때에는, 주님의 위로가 나를 달래 줍니다.

When I said, "My foot is slipping," your love, O LORD, supported me. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought joy to my soul.

3. 영적 동반자들로 부터 격려받으십시오! (Receive encouragement from godly companions!)

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 7:6

그러나, 실의에 빠진 사람을 위로해 주시는 하나님께서는 디도를 돌아오게 하심으로써 우리를 위로해 주셨습니다.

But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus,

잠언 (Proverbs) 18:24

친구를 많이 둔 사람은 해를 입기도 하지만 동기간보다 더 가까운 친구도 있다.

A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

고린도후서 (II Corinthians) 7:4

나는 여러분에게 큰 신뢰를 두고 있으며, 여러분을 매우 자랑스럽게 생각합니다.

우리의 온갖 환난 가운데서도, 나에게는 위로가 가득하고, 기쁨이 넘칩니다.

I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged; in all our troubles my joy knows no bounds.

히브리서  (Hebrews) 10:24-25

그리고 서로 마음을 써서 사랑과 선한 일을 하도록 격려합시다. 어떤 사람들의 습관처럼, 우리는 모이기를 그만하지 말고,

서로 격려하여 그 날이 가까워 오는 것을 볼수록, 더욱 힘써 모입시다.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together,

as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
