I just got done watching Episode 1 of Season 5 of the Chosen and…I was surprised!

I went into this episode thinking I knew what to expect…Jesus rides in in triumph…maybe we glimpse the Last Supper But I wasn’t ready for what ACTUALLY happened.

You see, unlike previous seasons, Season 5 is a rapid sprint through the final chapters of the gospels. Scene after scene, we’re dropped into these key biblical moments. Jesus is quoting large passages of scripture… And if we’re not careful, we’ll walk away without any clue about what it all means.

So, in this episode of The Chosen Explained, I’m going to take you through the key moments in episode 1 that set the tone for the rest of the Season. We’ll look at the characters, the scriptures, and the one devastating moment that ties it all together!
