All the way from the great state of Washington, I am so proud to introduce my new friend Travis Ruhter! Travis was advisor of the year in 2013. He hails from Mark Morris High School where he is also the leadership advisor. In this interview we focus on the importance of empathy, vulnerability and honesty when interacting with our student leaders. We talk about how all of us especially right now just want to feel seen, and how important it is to meet not only our students but our staff where they are. I just adore Travis and can't wait to do more episodes with him!
