I don't usually agree with things Sam Harris says, but he's mostly stating the obvious in this episode.
wild how historically inaccurate Harris is on the modern Palestine/Israel conflict. so much hasbara!
I don't usually stop listening to a podcast after a few minutes, but this time I did, because it simply hurts to hear such biased and insensitive views. He describes war crimes as "mistakes". He ignores the root causes of Palestinian reactions to Israeli occupation. He doesn't see the root causes of the hatred of the Muslim world against the West, which is being fomented even more by the atrocities against Palestinians. Now that I have seen the real face of Sam Harris I will unsubscribe to his podcast.
The world needs to listen to this podcast 👍
I salute you👏🏾
I don't think I'd ever lost respect for someone so fast. The entire episode is just one fallacy after another. What hurts me the most, I think, is that I thought this one person would never sacrifice logic for anything. It's sad to see Sam Harris do something you'd expect from Ben Shapiro. What I got from the argument was: Jihad is the worst thing in today's world (reasonable conclusion), so while they may have been more civil ways for Israel to retaliate, what it did is also acceptable?
