3490 When Being Good Is Bad - Call In Show - November 4th, 2016
Update: 2016-11-08
Description
Question 1: [9:28 ] – “How does an individual encourage children (or anyone) to lead a virtuous existence when living with virtues is often a very real handicap in our present society? I personally see the value of trying to lead such a positive life, but convincing most people of this is extremely difficult. Most people seem to want only a life of ease and comfort which society incessantly tells them to have at any cost.”
Question 2: [37:30 ] – “I'm a Venezuelan and I'm amazed by how similar big government politicians in the United States are to what has destroyed my country. How would you fight with reason and evidence from inside a failed country in which not even alternative media have made people open their eyes to the reality that big government policies always end in corruption and failure?”
Question 3: [1:00:16 ] – “We live in a world where money and therefore our economy is controlled by the banks not the people, are you aware of the money creation debate and the fractional reserve system fraud on the people? What are your views on this system?”
Question 4: [1:18:26 ] – “From a Marine's perspective I have witnessed sweeping changes in our culture which are polarizing from what I have learned from history. With what we know of the west's ‘progress’ so far, such as crushed birth rates, mass psychological deception, and a sweeping addendum on masculinity, what is your most educated opinion when asked do you think there has been a concerted effort to destroy western people? If so, who and why?”
Question 5: [1:49:12 ] – “My friend and I just concluded, after a rather lively discussion, that the definition of philosophy is logically fallacious, being defined as both the study of knowledge and experience, and as any belief that is held and acknowledged by an individual. Is this definition of philosophy not the same as saying something is existent nonexistence? Should an illogical definition of a word still be used to define said word? I believe that the definition is not applicable as definitions of words should have some objective merit. Am I misguided in this belief?”
