356. We Won an Award! Cass McCombs, Delco Historical Society, Melissa Mendes (Audio)
Description
Say "congratulations" because we are finally, officially an award winning show thanks to the Delaware County Historical Society who zoomed in with an award which was accompanied by a full tray of hoagies courtesy of Josh Agran from Delco Rose Hoagies. Then as if that wasn't enough, one of the greatest songwriters of our time Cass McCombs stopped by for a chat and a beautiful full-band rendition of "Peace" from his new album "Interior Live Oak." PLUS, our pal Melissa Mendes talking about her new grapic novel "The Weight," a full investigation of the Philly baseball game Karen, breaking M&M news and last but certainly not least Cass performing "Missionary Bell."
BY DA WAY, Doug's Jingles Vol. 1 & 2 are up on Bandcamp now! Dig into all 100 tracks (!!) at douggpound.bandcamp.com.
