Sometimes we compare our own adulting journey to our parents, but honestly, that ain't it. They are them, and we are us, and we can't be expecting to be who they were because our circumstances are 180* different than theirs.
Questions and thangs:
- What is your own definition of adulting?
- Are you a plant parent? Or have you thought about being a plant parent in these uncertain times? (LMAO at this vocabulary)
- Would you hang out with your parents if they were your age right now?
- A lot of us have immigrant parents who had to deal with crossing a border as young adults and completely transition their lives into what they have now. Traumatic shit! Forgive your parents, and yourself for the expectations that you might set for your parent(s).
