Description

Bobby the Bus is surprised to be wakened early on a summer morning. After all, he’s a bus on break.

Hello everyone!  We hope you enjoyed our new story this week. Now, welcome to Favorite Friday! Sometimes we like to listen to our favorites again. Please enjoy “Bus on Break,” and we’ll be back with a new story on Monday!

Narrator: Female

Story Begins: 9:30

Bus on Break Excerpt:

Light slipped into the garage where Bobby the Bus slept. The bright yellow bus yawned, wondering what was going on. As the doors opened, Bobby recognized the breathtaking sight of the sun rising and knew it was early in the morning. The yellow bus didn’t have much to do during summer break, especially not early in the morning. Then he heard, “Good morning Bobby!” It was the bus’s driver. Now, Bobby’s curiosity increased. The driver announced, “Guess what? We’re going to drive the kids to day camp.” Bobby’s engine rumbled to life excitedly. What a wonderful surprise! As Bobby drove out of the garage, he could feel the warmth of the summer sun. The bus started down a familiar road to begin his summer route.
