On May 12, 2014, the School Quality Department of Oakland Schools, will sponsor a day with Dr. Mary Helen Immordino-Yang as part of the "National Speaker" series. Dr. Immordino-Yang is an internationally recognized cognitive and educational psychologist who studies the brain base of emotion, social interaction and culture and their implications for development and education.
In this podcast Dr. Immordino-Yang discusses her research linking neuroscience and education. She shares how cultural, social, and cognitive learning are interrelated.
