Drawing upon scientific research, along with personal lived experience, Haleem talks about 4 ways that the Teen Brain is different and how this plays out in the real world.
The 4 ways the teenage brain is different are:
1) The prefrontal cortex is not fully formed yet.
2) Melatonin isn't released until much later on at night.
3) The ventral striatum (or dopamine Center) is way more active.
4) Teens struggle to properly assess facial expressions.
