In 2016, the UN declared internet access a basic human right. Five years later, vast swathes of the world are still starved for connectivity. We've tried everything to solve this problem; from swarms of satellites to giant, unpiloted balloons. But the best solution might also be the most ambitious.

In this episode, we talk to Neal Unitt-Jones, Commercial Vice President of Stratospheric Platforms, a company developing a fleet of hydrogen-powered planes that will beam reliable 5G connectivity from high in the stratosphere.
