You’ve probably heard of databases before - like in movies where villains are hacking into a database or maybe when you sign up to something new and get told “Your details will be stored in our database”. But have you ever wondered what a database actually is?
In this episode, we cover all the basics like what a database is and why they’re important. Next, we dive into a couple of different kinds of databases before we finish off chatting about these things called database management systems.
