Based on the character from the dystopian British comic “2000 A.D.,” Judge Dredd was an odd mishmash of a movie that was true to the look of the original and a few of the plot points, but had the spirit of a Stallone action vehicle, with a rather unfortunate sprinkling of Rob Schneider thrown in for the hell of it.
