473. The Life of a Disciple: Hearing God in a Disenchanted World (Week 2) // Sng Peh Han
Update: 2025-08-17
Description
“We’re not chasing something new for the sake of novelty — we’re reclaiming what has always been ours: a living, mystical and transformative relationship with the God who speaks, acts, and makes Himself known.” - @pehhan82
Ps. Peh Han brought a word titled Hearing God in a Disenchanted World, as part of our Hearing the Voice of God sermon series. In our pursuit of what’s practical, efficient, and logical, we often leave little room for the supernatural voice of God. We build our lives on culture and media, rather than on the Word.
He reminded us to remember our spiritual heritage — we are a people shaped by God’s story, not the world’s. He called us to root our lives in Scripture, to rediscover the art of deep listening, and to lean into communion with God — not just as a discipline, but as a relationship marked by intimacy, trust, and revelation.
There is an invitation to lean in and listen again, because God is deeply relational and still speaks. And to those who listen, He longs to reveal Himself, to guide, and to teach His ways.
