477 - Yasuke, The African Samurai
Description
This week we talk about Yasuke, the first non Japanese person to become a Samurai. Born somewhere in Africa, Yasuke became a samurai and close confident to the powerful Oda Nobunaga during one of the most tumultuous periods in Japan's history.
This is a comedy/history podcast, the report begins at approximately 07:35 (though as always, we go off on tangents throughout the report)
