Description

In this Bullet to the Bone Episode I discuss Blame! I consider it one of the most preferred pain-killers in a musician’s arsenal of self-sabotage weapons and a huge threat to anyone’s music career. Though we see it blatantly present itself at times, it’s the less obvious incidents of blame that I consider to be the most dangerous. These smaller “dosages” of blame allow us to place the responsibility on others when things go wrong… and man, they are sneaky!! Blaming others gives us a feeling of relief that we can easily get addicted to.

But don’t disparage! It’s truly understandable that our mind might trick us into thinking we are justified in blaming others, after all our brain is doing it to protect us. It’s trying to save us from pain and anxiety. The truth is, we can own our mistakes AND have a healthy attitude about it so that we don’t feel bad. Listen to the episode and then let me know if you have any thoughts!
