The Isles season has come to an abrupt end, bowing out in 5 games to the Carolina Hurricanes in a Round One series that may have looked a little closer on the ice than the 4-1 tally on paper. Either way, we look towards another summer with Lou Lamoriello at the helm, this time with a new co-pilot in head coach Patrick Roy.
There's some quiet hype building around what might be done to change the Islanders course for the better. Will difficult roster decisions be made? Or will it be more of the same? Will Patrick Roy restructure his coaching staff? And is there more room for improvement with a full training camp under Roy's tutelage?
