Alex Mills, PharmD, BCACP, AAHIVP, is an Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy.
Gender-affirming care is a timely topic and one that has generated a lot of headlines this past year. We talk through what it is and how legislation against it has impacted patient care for transgender and nonbinary persons. He provides great advice for pharmacists and providers on how to make their spaces safe for patients.
