Description

This is the third and last episode in a mini-series about the teenage brain, its development and how to best support our teens with inborn errors of metabolism during their transition into adulthood.

In episode 3 we focus on risk taking, training executive function skills and how important it is for parents and caregivers to allow their teens to begin to take the reins of their lives.

We will discuss skills that are relevant in supporting their independence and, in the context of IEMs, how to encourage that, plan for it and embrace it.
