Pour bien débuter l’été, nous vous proposons un classique des années 50 : Invasion of the Body Snatchers de Don Siegel. Ce film en noir et blanc sorti en 1956 a été refait trois fois depuis (Invasion of the Body Snatchers de Philip Kaufman en 1978, Body Snatchers d’Abel Ferrara en 1994 et The Invasion de Oliver Hirschbiegel, en 2007), preuve de la fascination qu’il suscite. Paranoïa, perte d’identité, peur du double, invasion extraterrestre sournoise, angoisse ordinaire mutée en terreur de l’étranger, le film de Siegel s’aligne totalement aux préoccupations d’aujourd’hui.
