Viola Gayvis aka Tafadzwa Donald Mzondo is one of Ireland’s most exciting talents within the Drag Art scene. Viola’s revolutionary performances have quickly catapulted her to deserved heights and she can be found performing regularly across Dublin and the rest of Ireland. In conversation with Louise Duffy, Viola explores her experiences of being a Drag Queen of colour in Ireland as well as discussing the power of pushing the boundaries of gender norms and the freedom that comes from following the career of your dreams rather than the career of your degree.
