Description

I received a call from a tubular bag manufacturer who shared that he received complaints about the tubular bags shrinking after pickling.

He had even received photographs from the battery manufacturer, which clearly showed the tubular bag had dislocated from some of the spines at one end of the plate.

He was confident his tubular bags were perfect and wanted me to talk to the battery manufacturer about the correct pickling procedures.

After seeing the photographs, I guessed the cause but didn’t want to risk giving a quick-fix solution. I needed to be sure and not hazard any guesses.

The photos revealed that the tubular bags were 3 to 5 mm shorter than the spine grid top bar on one side.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with your feedback after listening to the story. I am sure you will enjoy my experience and know what to do if you face a similar problem.
