This compilation is a tribute to the 70s and 80s best disco songs, updated with a fresh twist. Each track, whether it’s a classic disco tune from the 70s or a rhythmic gem from the 80s, receives a makeover for the modern era. Some retain the essence of the originals while others incorporate unique spins, including mash-ups of two timeless disco hits.

Take for instance, Gloria Gaynor’s ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’, remixed by Jet Boot Jack. This new version maintains Gaynor’s iconic vocals, albeit in a re-sung form, providing a refreshing yet familiar feel. On the other hand, ‘I Will Survive’, revamped by Anthony Fennel, presents an intriguing blend of the classic melody with contemporary House elements.

Michael Zager Band’s ‘Let’s All Chant‘ remixed by Block & Crown, employs the original stems but omits the distinctive ‘uh-ah, uh ah’ sequence, which may come as a surprise to some. Yet, it still encapsulates the spirit of the 70s and 80s best disco songs.
