Virtually all houses have attics. Many people across the country have crawlspaces or unfinished basements. How do you take care of these areas as a homeowner? We have some very simple and practical tips to keep you abreast of what's going on in these often forgotten nether regions of a house. It's easy to inspect yourself, but if you really can't stomach the crawlspace or the attic, these areas are cheap and sometimes even free to have inspected. Some issues are also easily fixed by a homeowner if caught early enough like minor roof leaks or improperly diverted downspouts.
