Description

Welcome back to the More Than Enough Podcast! We missed you last week as we took some time to navigate the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. For those who don’t know, we’re based in Asheville, North Carolina, and our community was hit hard. We lost power and water, and the storm left behind a trail of devastation that we’re all still processing.

In this episode, Madre and I open up about what it was like living through this unexpected hurricane.

In the midst of such devastation, It was incredible to see how people shared what they had – water, food, even just a helping hand. In the midst of it all, there was this sense of unity, a leveling of the playing field where it didn’t matter who you were or what you did, but how you could help each other through. We both felt God’s presence in that, guiding us to see each other with new eyes.

As we continue to rebuild, we’re so thankful for the helpers – both near and far – who have shown up in our community. I hope our story resonates with you and reminds you to look for the helpers around you too, in big ways and small.
