Tim Haggstrom is a Canadian lawyer who currently serves as the National Director of the Runnymede Society, a non-partisan organization focused on promoting classical liberal principles in law and policy.

In 2022, as a final-year law student, Haggstrom faced university sanctions for an open letter encouraging dialogue on race, racism, and affirmative action policies (e.g., extra exam time accommodations), which some peers labeled as "hate speech" and "harassment." The University of Saskatchewan deemed it non-academic misconduct, requiring a public apology and statement of regret. Supported by Freedoms Advocate, he sued in 2025, seeking to quash the ruling and challenge university policies for lacking procedural fairness and infringing Charter rights.
