3736 – September 22, 2025 – A Call for Strength and Courage –

My brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

One of my favorite hymns is:

“Be Strong in the Lord”

Be strong in the Lord and be of good courage

Your defender is He, will be always the same

Mount up with wings, as the eagle ascending

Victory is sure when you call on His name

 Soon the discussions will subside, but his memory will never be lost. If we learn nothing else from Charlie Kirk we should learn to be courageous. His definition for courage was “say yes!” when you are called.

We’ve all heard the sermons that “step on toes” – they are meant to bring a person to conviction… and repentance…. Not enrage. However, when a person refuses God…. They will fight it HIM with all their being AND they will become perverted to His (God’s) laws and ways.

Another called Erika a modern-day Esther… in the fact that she will now (for such a time as this) lead Turning Point USA and take on and grow the mission her husband was called to do.

I am no saint, by any means… HOWEVER, I now believe that when God called me to open each show with prayer… it wasn’t just to scold me for making fun of Nancy Pelosi BUT was because of the NEED … for a nation… a NEED for prayer. I am only one small… network of local radio groups… My platform as GREAT listeners BUT not fast like FOX or even New Max… BUT… obedience was (and always is) important.  I honestly argued with God a bit… BUT he won… was I courageous because I simply said YES?

My brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

America… is in need AND always has been for those good men and women to stop being timid, fearful… and just stand up and say yes!

Yes… I will pray – be a prayer warrior… not a small contribution

Yes… I will stand up for God… not deny him

Yes… I will speak truth… Truth is God – TRUTH will also rescue…

Yes… I will support those who are standing up

America was once a beacon of Christianity to the world… so much so that the west is known for Christian faith. BUT I believe we must be honest with ourselves and admit……… America, looks more secular… more like Sodom and Gomora than… it does Christian.

If we learn nothing from this horrific time in the history of America, we must learn that we MUST return to our roots… like the Prodigal son, return home… back to God. I heard that phrase a few times yesterday and I thought…Bring America Home© AGAIN. It’s not an accident that God brought me to that tag line OR THE guitar song that opens and closes the show… “Coming Home.”
