This week's episode on Wheat Among the Tares features Church Historian Karl Baker as our guest. We begin a two-part series on the subject of revivals and the history (and resulting fruits) of these in recent years, specifically since the early 1900’s until the present. This initial episode focuses on the Welsh Revival of 1904-1905 and a study of it’s leader, Evan Roberts of Wales. This series provides Christians with a look into the workings of the meaning of true revival and, conversely, those movements that gendered emotionalism only and were based on non-scriptural principles.
