On today's show we begin a series on 1983 Southeastern wrestling which pro wrestling historian Karl Stern put together from a series of old wrestling posters. 1983 was, in the opinion of many, the best year ever for SECW. The heel turn of Bob Armstrong was fresh, Austin Idol was a top star as were Jimmy Golden, Ken Lucas, and others. The Midnight Express, Inc was dominating the area.
