A Little Light Dispels Much Darkness: Facing the New Antisemitisms
Description
In this fascinating talk, Rabbi Nir Menussi discusses the global resurgence of antisemitism, describing it as a "light sleeper" that has fully awakened in both classical right-wing nationalism and modern left-wing anti-Zionism. Drawing on the philosophy of the Rebbe, he presents a radically positive approach: instead of getting caught in the "victim mentality" of fighting the darkness—by constantly labeling and calling out antisemites—the focus should be on spreading light. Antisemitism should serve as an "alarm clock" for the Jewish people to strengthen their identity and embrace their universal mission: to be a "light unto the nations" by sharing the wisdom and values of the Torah with the world.
