I want to go beyond the two words ’mental health’ and find out what’s going on with our kids, they are reporting record high levels of anxiety, self harm and our suicide rates are sadly at the top of the OECD index.
- We will hear from Karyn ... 25 years on the frontline of trying to reduce our awfully high rates of suicide.
- I’ll talk to Fiona a guidance counsellor in a college where teachers are now being specifically trained in how to spot mental health issues with our kids.
- And Nina, an extraordinary 15 year old who wants to be a doctor and has already written a book.
