On this episode of the Monday Main Point Jeremiah, Jeff, Blake, and Katrina discuss the Sunday sermon which was titled, "A Message to All Nations," from Luke 24:44-49. The main thrust of the sermon by Jeff McCarthy was on Luke's version of the Great Commission which is more famously found in Matthew 28:18-20. Luke also has a version of the Great Commission found in Acts 1:8. Some of the questions and topics of discussion for this week are: Where do we find the Great Commission in the Old Testament? The importance of Luke 24:47 as a framework for the Church. Did God's plan of salvation always include "the nations?" What is the Spirit's work in evangelism? Practical application for having Gospel conversations. And, How can ROS exist for another 143 years?
