A Prayer to Be Satisfied in the Small Things
Description
A Prayer to Be Satisfied in the Small Things
God often works through the small, simple, and unexpected—especially during seasons where our expectations run high, like Thanksgiving. In today's episode by Amanda Luedeke, we’re reminded that even the most modest acts of obedience can open the door to God’s miraculous provision. We contrast the idealized “perfect Thanksgiving” many of us imagine with the imperfect but beautiful memories that truly stay with us. Instead of striving for flawless moments, we’re invited to loosen our grip, adjust our expectations, and make room for God to meet us in the seemingly insignificant.

Prayer: My Jesus, You came to this world—quietly, meekly, yet beautifully—and You changed everything. I thank You and praise You for showing us that power isn’t found only in what is big and flashy. Help me to cling to this! Help me to focus on the importance of making space for that which is simple and seemingly insignificant. Guide me away from putting all my attention on the big efforts that impress and replace that desire with an ability to see Your work in the small things.
