Controlling our anger are vital to our identity as to our faithfulness, compares to our feelings are to idolatry. Meaning, our identity is our "faith, our belief system" For example, one of the prerequisites of accepting Christ into our lives, is because we felt a conviction identifying with His suffering and all he did on Calvary. On the other hand, if we trust in our feeling instead of our righteousness, is engaging in idolatry.
