Description

In the wake of George Floyd's death, the country has seen swift consequences when people become disdained in their nature by watching a man die in front of their eyes. For centuries African-Americans in this country have been fighting, marching, protesting, and have civilly done their due diligence to demand equality. But what makes this time different? Changes in the eyes of white America have been opened as well. Consciousness has consequently become a roadmap to change? Is this a moment? Movement? Will change indeed happen?

The 16 black men I spoke with in a Zoom forum would like for change to happen. Some think it won't. Listen in and form your own opinion. These men express concern for family, share their experiences, question what the next move is and how to get there? The conversation was insightful, impactful, thought-provoking and needed. What is more needed? We need our white brothers and sisters to listen and hear the message of what these 16 intelligent men have to say.
