Amidst the turmoil and persecution threatening the Church's survival, this revelation assured believers that the Living Lord was actively working for His Church.
The prophecy promised that through conflict and stress, the Church would emerge purified and perfected, ready as a bride for Christ. This assurance provided immense comfort and hope to the early Christians, strengthening their faith during difficult times. May it be a reminder for us (the church) in the 21st century. Our hope is in Christ alone. This is a spotlight on the Scriptures.
