Our Living Legend is an educational consultant, artist, civil rights activist and public speaker. He is a retired school administrator with more than 30 years serving the White Plains Public Schools in New York. He was the first black undergraduate student at Louisiana State University, entering in 1953 by suing the school. A great example of the importance of knowing your history and the complications that brings.
