Unit 8 is the Cold War, the 1950s, the 1960s movements, and the Vietnam War. You will learn about the key battles and events of the Communist v. Capitalist global fight. You’ll see how the domestic side of the US grew in prosperity. But you will also the limits in racial and gender inequalities. You will see how the problems of conformity and the Vietnam War all led up to major protests.  You will get the big examples you need for the AP test.
