Description
Senzo Mchunu, the national Police Minister, was placed on special leave following serious allegations of political interference, corruption, and collusion with organised crime. The allegations were first made by KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant-General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, who claimed that Mchunu ordered the disbandment of the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT) and interfered in investigations. Mbuyiseni Ndlozi is in conversation with UNISA Senior Policing Lecturer, Dr Mpho Matlala and Criminologist, Prof. Nirmala Gopal.
