Our introduction to Paul leads us to believe he is a distracted man who often looks for something to spice up the night as his job isn't exactly exciting. Unfortunately for Paul, this want of adventure would turn out to be a near death sentence for him, as he enters a taxi cab to take him across New York to meet up with a girl he met in a diner a few horus beforehand. His night gets continuously worse, as he meets more and more strange characters of the night, soon wanting to do nothing but get home and back into his mundane life working a desk job.
