Heroin addiction is nothing short of evil. The US is currently in the midst of an opioid overdose epidemic, that not only includes heroin, but prescription pain medications as well. In fact, many heroin addicts first developed their physical reliance on opioids by taking prescription pain medications. My two years spent documenting addicts has taught me much about the wold of addiction. Through these stories I hope to share my experience with you, and hopefully help someone to never ingest heroin in the first place. It's not worth the risk.
