Good morning! Heres your daily market update. Early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade saw a bearish trend in agricultural commodities. Corn futures dipped, with the December twenty-five contract closing down $2.25. Soybean futures also fell, with the December twenty-five contract down $0.50 and other contracts declining as well. Wheat futures took a significant hit, with the May twenty-six contract dropping $4.75. Soybean oil futures, however, showed a slight uptick. Soybean meal futures also fell across the board. Overall, the agricultural sector is seeing mixed, but generally softer, trading in these early hours.
