Description
Alexander High School is the home of a magnet program which features a liberal arts curriculum and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Alexander began offering the Liberal Arts College Preparatory Magnet in 2016. The rigorous liberal arts curriculum requires students to challenge themselves academically and meet high expectations for attendance and behavior. Students must earn 28 Carnegie units, including three units of a foreign language, complete at least one Advanced Placement (AP) course, and document 20 hours of community service in order to graduate with the Liberal Arts Diploma Seal. Alexander will host an informational meeting n November 7, 2019. Applications for all Magnet Programs are Monday, December 14, 2020.
