Description

The Confidence Clinic Season 1, Episode 4: Alexandra Maurer. Have you ever got a career inspiration from a movie character? Have you ever got a side-eye because you are an ambitious woman? Our next guest gets you. Inspired by Eddie Murphy in "Boomerang", Alexandra started out aiming for a career in marketing and PR. However, an opportunity to audition for MTV/Viva led her to become a TV presenter instead. Despite the criticism and judgement, Alexandra became a well-known TV presenter, co-founder of Mum Lab, and host of the podcast "Diversity Diaries".

Today, on The Confidence Clinic, Alexandra candidly discusses the challenges she faced, including the lack of diversity in her field, and the importance of female representation. She also shares her experiences as a loving mother and co-founder of Mum Lab, a supportive and safe space for women to discuss fertility and motherhood. Alexandra emphasizes the power of community support and her determination to challenge sexist assumptions about working mothers.
