Alistair is a voice actor and professional communicator who believes strongly in using the power of our voice to become better leaders, presenters, and negotiators. Alistair’s passion lies in teaching professionals how to leverage their voice to make better connections with clients, prospects, and colleagues.
In addition to his work as a voice actor, Alistair spends his time coaching entrepreneurs about the many aspects of both verbal and non-verbal communication and helps them hone their voice to achieve more. He does this through his voice and sales training consultancy, Jabba, and also through his very popular podcast How to Rock Virtual Engagements.

About Alistair Davis
I love teaching people about the power of the voice and performing on a webcam or stage. As virtual business leaders, we can better connect with our clients, prospects, or colleagues - no matter if you are presenting, persuading, or negotiating.

I break down the speaking voice and performance into measurable components and teach people how to enhance each aspect.
What makes me different is I use simple voice acting and acting techniques that anyone can learn.
Currently, I am also a professional Voice Actor (www.alistairdavis.co.za) and Actor over the past 10 years I have voiced over 2000 commercial, Radio, and Television Voice Overs for local and international brands.
My sales journey started at age 7, knocking on doors selling a very difficult product. From a young age I heard the sound of slamming doors and the art of persistence, I learned how to really open a conversation with warmth and get people liking me from the start.
At age 20, I started working for Oracle in inside sales in Dublin, Ireland; I was in the Oracle Economy for 10 years. These 10 years honed my sales skills even more whilst working for a Fortune 500 company and smaller Oracle Partners.
Not content with the corporate life, I decided that I needed to become an Entrepreneur and so I moved back to South Africa to try my hand at running my own business. I taught my salespeople to hunt for business and we sourced 90% of our revenue from cold calling.
My mission is to make people interesting and interested in what you have to say. I unpack the voice in measurable components and combine the theory with technology so that the learning sticks and people walk away with a life skill.
Speaking powerfully from the heart is a skill that can be learned.
